About Niki

I've spent 18 years in the beauty industry, and for most of that time, nails have been at the heart of what I do.

I've worked behind the desk, built a busy client base, owned my own salon, led a team, made mistakes, changed direction, started again — and learnt what this industry really asks of you.

And now, I'm in a new chapter.

Alongside looking after my own nail clients, I'm building the education side of Niki Parkes with one clear purpose: to give future nail techs the kind of training, confidence and real-world guidance I know matters when you're starting out.

I'm not interested in making education feel intimidating, overly polished or out of reach. I want it to feel personal. Supportive. Practical. Real.

Because becoming a nail tech is about so much more than learning how to apply product. It's about confidence, consistency, client experience, professionalism, and learning how to trust yourself behind the desk.

After 18 years, I still love this industry. I'm still learning. I'm still evolving. And that's exactly why I want to teach.

Not because I believe I know everything — but because I have years of experience worth passing on.
